Importing Your Subscription and Setting Up the Connection

Account → Plan → Subscription → Client → Connection test. First, check that your subscription is active in the user panel, then import it on your platform. This guide covers only the steps you need to get started.

Create an Account and Save Your Credentials

Start by opening the account creation page in the VPNBonus user panel. No email address is required—you can create an account with a username and password. Your username is used to sign in later, so check capitalization and spaces as you enter it. Use a password manager to generate and save a unique password; don't reuse one from another site. Check your details before submitting, and make sure you can enter them again the next time you open the panel.

Once you're done, continue to the plans if the panel has opened your account page. If you're still on the sign-in screen, log in with the username and password you just saved. Don't mistake a configuration name in your client for your account name: your account is for accessing the user panel, while the configuration name is just a label to identify the subscription on your device.

Keep your login details somewhere only you can access. VPNBonus doesn't require an email address, so don't count on email-based password recovery. If you can't log in, check that autofill selected the right account and that your input method didn't add spaces. Then see the account section in the Help Center. Once you can access your account, choose a plan; creating another account may split your orders and subscriptions across accounts.

Choose a Plan and Confirm Payment

Go to the plans section of the user panel. First check the billing type, then compare data allowances. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. These plans suit ongoing use if you'd like to manage your allowance month by month. If you upgrade partway through a billing period, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Review the settlement details shown in the panel before proceeding.

Choose a data package based on your expected usage: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, or ¥658 for 3000GB. Data is available until used and never expires. Unlike a monthly subscription, a data package isn't billed on a monthly cycle. If your usage varies, compare how data packages and monthly subscriptions are managed before choosing one. See the Plans page for full pricing and billing details.

After choosing a plan, proceed to checkout in the panel and check the amount, data allowance, and payment method. VPNBonus accepts Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT, and offers a 30-day refund policy. Keep your order details during payment. When payment is complete, return to the panel to check the order status; closing the payment page doesn't necessarily mean the plan is active.

Continue to get your subscription once your account page shows an active plan and its data allowance. If you've paid but the status hasn't updated, refresh the order section and check that you're in the right account before trying again. If the issue persists, describe the order status in a panel support ticket. Redact sensitive payment details from screenshots before submitting them. See the Terms of Service for refund eligibility and instructions.

Account Overview and Getting Your Subscription

Once your plan status is confirmed, open the account overview in the user panel and find the subscription section. A subscription isn't an installer; it's what lets your client retrieve server configurations. If the panel offers an import option for your client, choose the one that matches the client you're using. To add it manually, use the copy subscription option and make sure you copy the entire link.

Your subscription link contains account credentials, so protect it like a password. Don't post the full link in public forums, online conversion tools, or shared documents, and don't paste it into a browser search bar. Copy it directly into the subscription field in your own client and confirm. Forwarding it through chat apps, automatic line breaks, or manual edits can make the link unusable.

If you use the panel's one-click import, your browser may ask whether to open the client. Make sure the correct app is installed before allowing it to open. After it launches, check in the client that the configuration was saved. If nothing opens, return to the panel, copy the subscription link, and follow the platform instructions below to import it manually. There's no need to place another order.

After importing, the client will usually retrieve the configuration and show a server list. If the list is empty, first check whether the subscription updated successfully rather than repeatedly pressing Connect. Use the active plan status in the account overview, the subscription's last update time in the client, and any error messages to diagnose the issue. If the panel and client show different information, see the subscription update section in the Troubleshooting Guide.

Importing on Each Platform

Choose your operating system in the downloads section of the user panel. You can sign in to get the client for Windows, macOS, Android, or Linux without buying a plan; an active plan is required to get and use a subscription. The iOS download option requires a purchased, unexpired plan. Use the panel to get the client, subscription, and configuration. This guide doesn't provide installers or live subscription links.

Get the Client

Windows: Add a Subscription

Get the Windows client from the panel's downloads section and install it. Open the configuration page in a proxy client that supports subscription management. Go to “Subscription” or “Configuration” and look for an option such as Add Subscription or Import from URL. Paste the link you copied into the address field, not the configuration name field. Choose a label that's easy for you to recognize, then save and update.

Once the server list appears, set the new configuration as the one in use. For your first connection, you can start with the client's default rule mode, then enable the system proxy or any required network permissions as prompted. If the client says it's connected but your browser's exit IP hasn't changed, check that the system proxy is enabled. Avoid changing the proxy mode, DNS, and virtual network adapter all at once; otherwise, it'll be hard to tell what fixed the issue.

macOS: Allow the Configuration and Network Permissions

Get the macOS client from the panel and open its configuration or subscription management page after installation. Clients that support subscription links usually have an option to add a remote configuration or import from a link. Paste and save your subscription, wait for it to update, select the configuration, then open the server list. If you use the panel's import option, make sure your browser opens the correct installed client.

The first time you connect, macOS may ask you to allow a network configuration, authorize a related component, or confirm proxy settings. Respond only to prompts from the client you just installed, then return to the app and check the connection status. If you closed an authorization window, check the relevant permissions in System Settings and try connecting again. If other proxy tools are running, pause them first to prevent them from overriding each other's system proxy settings.

Android: Import Your Subscription and Allow VPN Access

Get the Android client from the panel's downloads section and install it by following the system prompts. Open a client that supports subscription import, then look for an option such as “Import from link” under Configuration, Subscription, or Add Configuration. Paste the full subscription link and save it. Wait for the update to finish, make sure the configuration shows a server list, then select it and connect.

Android will ask whether to allow a VPN connection. Confirm, then return to the client and check its status. If the connection drops when you switch to another app, check whether Android is restricting the client from running in the background, and allow the necessary background activity in your device settings. Battery management menus vary by device, so you don't need to turn off every power-saving feature. Adjust settings for the client only if it disconnects in the background.

iOS: Get and Import the Client Through the Panel

First, check in the panel that your plan has been purchased and hasn't expired. Then open the iOS download option and follow the instructions to get the client from the App Store. If you're using an iOS client that supports subscription configurations, try the matching import option offered by the panel. Alternatively, choose Import from URL on the client's Subscription, Configuration, or Add page, then paste and save the link copied from the panel.

Once the update completes and the server list appears, select the configuration and connect. The first time, iOS will ask to add a VPN configuration. Follow the system prompts, then return to the client to check the connection status. The VPN indicator only shows that a connection configuration is in use; it doesn't confirm that a particular website is accessible. Check your exit IP and try the service you need. For more iPhone instructions, see the iPhone VPN Setup Guide for Beginners.

Connect and Check Your Exit IP

Open the server selection page in your client and choose a server that meets the region requirements of the service you want to use. Then connect. VPNBonus covers 100+ countries / 160+ servers; available options are shown in your account. Geographic distance alone doesn't determine whether a server is suitable. The site's regional availability, account region requirements, and your local network can all affect the outcome. A successful connection doesn't guarantee that every third-party service will accept your exit IP.

To test the connection, note your exit details before connecting. Then connect, refresh the IP check page, and compare the exit address and location with the expected changes. An IP check only shows the exit used by your current browser request. In rule mode, different sites may use different routing rules, so also open the website or app you need and check that you can sign in, load pages, and use the features you need.

If your exit IP hasn't changed, first check that the client is actually connected, then verify its permissions and current configuration. If the exit IP has changed but an app still doesn't work, check whether the app uses the proxy and whether the service is available in the selected region. Change one setting at a time, keep track of the original state, and check the result before making another change. Avoid switching servers and changing multiple settings at once, which makes it harder to identify the cause.

To use VPNBonus on multiple devices, install a client and import your subscription separately on each one. VPNBonus has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, but check the remaining data in your account: device limits and data allowances are separate. Check that your subscription updates before everyday use. If the server list changes, update the configuration first rather than deleting your account or placing another order.

Your initial setup is now complete. For occasional access failures, slower evening speeds, background disconnections, or DNS issues, follow the relevant steps in the Troubleshooting Guide. For common account and billing questions, visit the Help Center. If you need more help, submit a support ticket in the panel. Include your operating system, client name, what you were doing, selected region, and a screenshot of the error with sensitive details redacted. Don't include your password or full subscription link.
